The National Sports Awards 2021 were held at El Palacio de El Pardo de Madrid.
Alexia Putellas, a player from FC Barcelona, was one of the winners of the prestigious awards.
Alexia was awarded the Reina Letizia prize for her individual and team achievements in the 2021 Champions League, Liga española and Copa de la Reina, as well as winning the Balón de Oro and FIFA's ‘The Best’ award.
Alexia participated in a talk with the King and Queen of Spain and the other winners after receiving the award.
FC Barcelona's president Joan Laporta and director Xavier Puig also accompanied Alexia to Madrid to celebrate the occasion.
Alexia expressed her pride in receiving the award and thanked the fans for their support and energy.
She also talked about the upcoming Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea and how she hopes for a great atmosphere at the Camp Nou in the upcoming match.
